A two-year planning grant from Texas Department of Transportation awarded to CBCIL and partner IGD-Liberty is paving the way for more transportation options for rural area citizens. Now in its second year, the MobilityNow! Project is carrying forward a year of planning and input from local stakeholders into the demonstration phase. Liberty Mobility Now! will be on the ground in the first of 2018 providing app-based and Call Center arranged rides with local drivers. Operating under the banner of Mobility-as-a-Service and using highly vetted paid and volunteer drivers, Liberty Mobility Now! revs up in Nueces and San Pat Counties and then to the rest of the Coastal Bend region.
MobilityNow! is supported by a TxDOT RTAP Planning grant
