Mobility Services - Change this value to a strong SEO phrase

The Mobility Options Project and MobilityNow! are two transportation projects under the CBCIL Mobility Services Program, assisting individuals with disabilities and seniors to access transportation in the Coastal Bend.

Mobility Options Project

MOP provides transportation to individuals with disabilities and seniors age 65 and older by purchasing services from area transportation providers in a consumer-directed, cost-sharing model. Mobility Management assists individuals who are not adequately served by public transit to learn about available options, develop an individualized mobility plan and to access transportation they can afford. CBCIL’s MOP provides a gap-filling and coordinated approach to transportation solutions.

Funding for MOP is supported by the Enhanced Mobility for Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities (Section 5310) program, through Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CC-RTA).

Mobility Now!

A two-year planning grant awarded to CBCIL and partner IGD-Liberty is paving the way for a new transportation option designed for rural area residents. Liberty is an app-based “Mobility-as-a-Service” that can be accessed 24/7 with local drivers using their vehicles.  MobilityNow! is 6 months into the planning phase in readiness for a second year demonstration starting in September. A Partner Group of  local stakeholders are providing valuable input for the implementation of Liberty Mobility Now!

MobilityNow! is supported by a TxDOT RTAP Planning grant
