Texas voter purge is latest effort to target minority voters In a democracy, citizens vote; unless you are imprisoned and your rights are taken away, you get to call the shots! This is a nice aspect of living in our state–choosing who is elected and what they are entitled to do–giving power to certain people and their parties.
But what happens when the party in power tries to PURGE our votes? This is what happens when they try to punt real registered voters? Is that right? Is it proper? Our state recently took a ridiculous look at what happened and announced that 95,000 voters were registered who did not deserve that right.
