The federal Administration on Community Living is traveling to Texas and California to receive direct input from individuals with disabilities, seniors, families, caregivers and service providers about their experiences during recent disasters. For Houston and the Coastal Bend, these experiences are relative to Hurricane Harvey in 2017. If you or your clients or others in these categories were/are still impacted, please encourage them to attend. ACL is attempting to better understand what resources may be needed to improve disaster readiness and resilience.
