Coastal Bend Center for Independent Living
Community Living and Support Services (CLASS) is a Medicaid waiver program for individuals who acquire a disability before age 22 and need community-based services to avoid institutionalization. The CBCIL CLASS Case Managers provide service coordination, assist participants with planning and monitoring of services provided through a Direct Service Agency, and provide advocacy on behalf of participants and their families. Based in consumer-direction, the CLASS Program providers (Direct Services, Case Management and/or Financial Management Services agencies) are chosen by the program participants within the Corpus Christi catchment area.
